Subdomain Orchestration Lead

As a Group 4 Sub-Domain Orchestration Lead, you will own the execution of the ‘I manage my investments – High Net Worth’ subdomain roadmap, delivering the future state design of stockbroking/wealth platforms and end to end processes. Delivering prioritised platform, client & colleague value outcomes aligned with Private Wealth strategy, with a key focus on investment products and systems.

You are key for driving ancillary Sub-Domain operations (financial management, resourcing/capacity forecasts, governance reporting, squad accounting) and ensuring the execution and strategy are aligned by working with relevant Accountable Executive, Principle Product Owner, Exec Tech, Product Owners and Domain Orchestration Lead, through progressively elaboration.

Some key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the operating rhythm to support lean governance processes and execution of both change and run activities in a Sub-Domain (I Manage my investments)
  • Drive the 12-18 month roadmap of Business outcomes and Epics within your Sub-Domain aligned to the overarching Domain roadmap (High Net Worth)
  • Ensure progressive elaboration processes are in place and effectively managed
  • Facilitate relevant Sub-Domain governance forums including prioritisation, 90-day planning and input for QDR including cross Domain dependencies
  • Lead financial planning and management for the Sub-Domain, liaising with the Product Owners, RTEs, Investment Finance and Domain Orchestration Lead
  • Lead and motivate team members, including direct and indirect people leadership of 10-20 employees within your sub-domain
  • Drive continuous improvement from identification to implementation and measurement
  • Support Agile Coaches and Chapter Leads with capability uplift in agile ways of working across the Sub-Domain

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated delivery experience navigating large, complex organisations, including strong financial services program experience, preferably in Wealth or stockbroking
  • Experience working in agile at scale environments, with particular focus on hybrid and agile delivery models and contemporary Ways of Working
  • Experience across agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsets in large organisations adopting agile at scale
  • Track record of providing quality insights that help drive decisions to ensure teams are operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, analytics and business process-based solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience, including at Domain and Board level
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, analytics, and NAB asset teams and solutions
