In the role of Manager, Health Safety & Wellbeing, you will join the People & Culture Team that’s doubling down on making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple.
What you’ll do:
As Manager – Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you will deliver on:
- Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring effective implementation of NAB’s HSW policy, frameworks, and processes.
- Risk Management: Drive enterprise risk reviews, undertake audits, and strengthen NAB’s safety management system.
- Innovation & Wellbeing: Design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that address physical and psychosocial risks and support mental health and resilience.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of HSW professionals.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present high-quality reports for senior leadership, highlighting key risks, mitigation strategies, and performance metrics.
- Compliance & Assurance: Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party risk management activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in health and safety.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisory role, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing HSW professionals.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, including psychosocial risk.
- Audit experience (ISO 45001 and/or self-insurance WHS audits).
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate complexity and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
