Associate/Senior Associate, Capital Markets- Origination and Distribution

In the role of Associate/Senior Associate, you will join the Securitisation Origination team, part of Capital Markets - Origination and Distribution team within Corporate & Institutional Banking that’s doubling down on customer obsession and moving with speed.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

  • Be responsible for assisting with credit risk analysis, preparation of credit proposals (including term sheets) to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with teams across C&IB, including Syndicate, Markets, Credit Risk, Legal, Client Coverage, and Client Management & Execution
  • Undertake financial and credit risk analysis for the preparation of credit submissions, including due diligence and analysis for new to bank submissions, annual reviews, complex amendment requests, documentation, and execution for assigned customer groups
  • Responsible for management of ongoing monitoring of the risk profile of assigned client groups and exposures, ensuring portfolio hygiene is kept to a satisfactory standard, with accuracy of system data
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials for term deals and pitches
  • Attend regular client meetings, build strong customer relationships to support business outcomes and conduct research to develop sector expertise and awareness of market trends.

  • Excels in a dynamic environment and can successfully multi-task.
  • An understanding of tax and accounting principles and standards.
  • Sound numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Prior experience in banking and finance, credit, and capital markets.
  • Understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment.
