Associate Sustainable Finance

In the role of Associate, you will join the Sustainable finance team within Corporate & Institutional Banking that’s doubling down on customer obsession and moving with speed. 

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

  • Support Sustainable Finance team members on delivery of key strategic initiatives.  

  • Contribute to market research, develop insights, create pitch decks and marketing materials, oversee execution, prepare reports, and support various transaction-related tasks.  

  • Undertake industry research, benchmarking, and analysis of market best practice.   

  • Support internal and external reporting, including data analysis.  

  • Look for opportunities to streamline processes and business improvement, including through integration of AI.  

  • Undertake appropriate industry accreditation and maintain qualifications as required.   

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills.  

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and quick learner.  

  • Strong research & analysis skills with ability to develop tailored insights.  

  • Customer focussed, team player with ability to work to tight deadlines.  

  • Sustainability and/or sustainable finance related experience preferred.  

  • Experience in origination and coverage roles preferred but not essential.  

  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills with ability to distil emerging global and domestic trends into tailored customer insights.  

  • Experience working collaboratively and alongside a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably with a degree in finance, science, or related areas.  

  • ESG/Sustainability qualifications an advantage.   

  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Copilot
