Head of Operational Resilience

In the role of Head of Operational Resilience you will join the T&EO Risk & Governance team that’s doubling down on Owning it.  

Each day, you will work closely with the Executive team in T&EO to go above and beyond to: 

  • Provide enterprise leadership for operational resilience, setting direction, maintaining the resilience framework, and ensuring strong governance and reporting that supports executive and Board oversight.  

  • Drive resilience insights and operational risk uplift, maintaining central visibility of critical operations, emerging risks, control effectiveness, and resilience health metrics, and escalating issues proactively through governance.  

  • Oversee CPS230 compliance activities, ensuring obligation reviews, effectiveness assessments, and prudential reporting are consistently completed to a high standard across the enterprise.  

  • Partner with senior leaders, regulators, and audit functions, coordinating enterprise wide responses to assurance activities, regulatory reviews, and resilience-related inquiries, and ensuring transparent, high quality submissions.  

  • Embed a robust operating rhythm for operational resilience, including leading key governance forums, overseeing performance reporting, supporting training and capability uplift, and championing best practice across the organisation.  

 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

  • Demonstrated professional experience in Financial Services with a background in risk management, compliance and/or controls. 

  • Excellent Executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills 

  • Prior experience managing compliance against Prudential Regulations in Financial Services 

  • Prior work experience in either 1st or 2nd Line Risk Management or Compliance 

  • Outcomes-focused with exceptional attention to detail 

  • Customer-obsessed with a continuous improvement mindset
