Senior Consultant, Consumer Pricing – Melbourne CBD

In the role of a Senior Consultant, you will join the Consumer Pricing team that’s doubling down on winning together!
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Develop and implement deposit pricing strategies, frameworks, and guidelines to optimise margin and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for growth in deposit products.
- Collaborate with Everyday Banking teams to review and approve pricing changes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and interpret market trends, customer behaviours, and competitor activities to drive innovative pricing solutions.
- Provide actionable insights on deposit volumes, financial impacts, and drivers of customer behaviour through data-driven analysis.
- Lead initiatives to assess and improve the effectiveness of pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with risk and assurance requirements.
- Deliver financial plans and targets, including strategic initiatives and realization of benefits.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Strong background in data analytics or data science, with proven ability to leverage data for pricing and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in deposit pricing within banking.
- Proficiency in statistical modelling, data visualisation, and advanced analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or similar).
- Solid understanding of financial metrics, pricing methodologies, and market dynamics.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Experience working in large, complex organisations and delivering consistent results.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and compliance in pricing strategies.
