Associate, Transaction Monitoring Capability

An exciting 12 month fixed-term opportunity for an Associate, in the Transaction Monitoring (TM) Capability team to be responsible for extracting meaningful insights from a various range of information for Financial Crime team within T&EO!!

As an Associate, TM Capability, you will be joining the Financial Crime team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

In this Associate, Capability role, you will:

  • Partner with operational teams to understand business challenges and define analytical requirements
  • Build Excel based datasets and Power BI dashboards for performance monitoring
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Strong stakeholder management with strong verbal and written skills
  • Provide insights, analysis and commentary for TM reporting as required

What you'll bring 

  • Experience in working within the Transaction Monitoring space for 2-5 years, either within operations or data type roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Track record of delivering business impact through recommendations
  • Essential Capabilities
    • SQL, Python
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel
    • Data visualisation (Power BI preferred)
    • Understanding of AML CTF Act / NAB’s AML/CTF Program
