Senior Associate Personal Banking Finance

As a Senior Associate for Personal Banking (PB) Finance, you will take a wholistic/portfolio view to PB performance, linking external & internal factors impacting our performance, drive discussions, and aid decision making across Personal Banking Finance.

In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Finance team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.

In this Senior Associate role, you will

  • Partner with Product Finance to shape forward‑looking insights by bringing a deep understanding of key business drivers into our monthly outlook.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives to the business. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our performance relative to competitors and leverage emerging market trends to generate forward‑looking and externally orientated analysis.
  • Act as a critical steward of our capital position and play a central role in shaping discussions within PB’s Capital Forum
  • Play a significant role in delivering monthly, quarterly, and half‑year performance reporting for senior stakeholders, supporting informed and constructive performance discussions across the bank
  • Maintain finance risk profile, including model oversight and governance, following modelling best practice.

What you’ll bring

  • Sound numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • A strong collaborative spirit, with the capability to build productive relationships across multiple functions
  • Inquisitive mindset and a desire to build on commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience and familiarity with advanced excel functions.
  • Ability to review complex data and analyse information from multiple sources.
  • Degree qualified, ideally CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) an advantage.
  • Experience in Finance/Financial Services.
