As a Consultant Physical Security Infrastructure, you will design, deliver, and provide expert advice on physical and electronic security solutions that safeguard people, premises, and assets.  The role combines hands-on technical expertise with advisory capability to ensure the reliability, performance, and ongoing operation of physical security systems and hardware across the bank.   

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:  

• Scope, oversee and commission physical security installations to approved standards, specifications and design requirements (including validation/testing of controls). 

• Provide technical support and incident resolution for physical security systems and applications, including participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster. 

• Project manage and deliver physical security infrastructure projects including access control, CCTV, system upgrades, integrations and multi-site rollouts, with a strong focus on process improvement and best practice. 

• Conduct physical security site risk assessments across commercial offices, retail branches, business banking centres, ATMS and other premises. 

• Partner with system integrators and vendors through commissioning, decommissioning and integrations, supporting governance and service provider management.  

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

• Previous experience as a security technician along with experience in project oversight and delivery of physical security installation in large commercial and retail sites. 

• Expert technical experience operating and maintaining access control systems, security alarm systems, CCTV systems within large multi-site organisation.  

• Experience preparing security scopes, designs, standard operating procedures and policies. 

• Technical experience operating and maintaining infrastructure supporting physical security systems and hardware. 

• Tertiary qualification in a Security or Technology discipline, relevant hardware certifications and industry security licenses. 

• Experience in managing Real Time Physical Security Incidents and availability to provide on call support on a rostered basis.
