Executive Assistant – Melbourne CBD

In the role of an Executive Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Chief People Officer, Technology and Enterprise Operations and Enabling Units (T&EO and EU) and Chief People Officer, Personal Bank (PB), ensuring the smooth and effective running of their day-to-day and strategic commitments.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Provide proactive end‑to‑end executive support, including complex diary and email management, meeting coordination, travel, expenses and office administration
- Work autonomously to manage competing priorities, anticipate issues, escalate where required and ensure executives are fully prepared for meetings and key commitments
- Execute delegated approvals and administrative actions in line with NAB policies, governance and risk requirements
- Maintain accurate systems, records and information flow, including shared drives, distribution lists, workforce systems and executive documentation
- Manage enquiries professionally, exercising sound judgement and discretion, and ensuring timely resolution or appropriate delegation
- Partner closely with the Delivery Consultant, ELT EAs and executive offices to ensure alignment, consistency and delivery across T&EO and EU and PB
- Support engagement, culture and compliance across the leadership team, including mandatory training, onboarding/offboarding and ad‑hoc projects

- Significant experience supporting Senior Executives in a large, complex or regulated environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage confidential information with discretion
- Sound understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements within executive environments
- Advanced administrative capability, with strong proficiency across Microsoft 365 and enterprise systems
- Strong relationship‑building skills and the confidence to engage across senior stakeholders
- A proactive, resilient and adaptable mindset, able to respond to changing priorities
