About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to play a critical role in supporting the end‑to‑end ownership of NAB’s Debt Servicing Tool (DST), associated processes and capabilities. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring DST delivers scalable, resilient and compliant outcomes that support the Bank’s customers, frontline teams, and complies with policy and regulatory obligations.

You’ll operate at the intersection of business, technology, risk, and front line team, partnering closely with delivery squads and senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and value.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Own the DST product vision, roadmap and backlog, balancing regulatory, operational, and strategic priorities
• Maintain end‑to‑end accountability for DST servicing outcomes, value delivery, and platform stability
• Partner with Technology to define and deliver DST enhancements, managing dependencies through to implementation
• Ensure solutions comply with policy, regulatory and control requirements
• Contribute to risk, assurance and remediation activities as required
• Prepare materials for Steering Committees, governance forums, and regulatory engagements
• Collaborate with Business Lending, Credit Risk, Technology, Controls and Assurance teams
• Track delivery performance, benefits realisation, and customer outcomes
• Influence stakeholders and lead teams through ambiguity and competing priorities

We’re looking for the best and brightest. You’ll need:

• Experience delivering complex solutions in the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of banking products and servicing models; business or commercial banking highly regarded
• Proven delivery experience across Agile, waterfall or hybrid environments
• Experience working with platform‑based systems and managing cross‑system dependencies
• Ability to operate effectively in regulated environments
• Strong senior stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including governance reporting
• Confidence working in fast‑paced, changing environments

This role can be performed from either Melbourne or Sydney location.
