Analyst Engineer

In the role of Analyst Engineer, you will join the Digital Payment Hub team who are doubling down on moving with speed deliver this service to our customers.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Partnering with BAs and UX designers to shape clear, well defined requirements and provide technical insight.
- Designing and building high quality Android applications.
- Contributing actively to the full software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
- Collaborating with testers to ensure apps are reliable, performant, and resilient.
- Reviewing code and giving constructive feedback to uplift engineering standards.
- Driving continuous improvement in development practices, team processes, and mobile design.
- Showcasing the team’s work through internal presentations and supporting events like hack days, meet‑ups, and demos.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver for our customers. You’ll need:
- Experience developing Android apps using Java and Kotlin, with a solid understanding of mobile design patterns.
- Comfortable working with REST/JSON APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and common tooling (Android Studio, Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and build pipelines (e.g., Gradle, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, UI automation, Perfecto, Applitools).
- Understanding of release and configuration management, versioning, and dependency management.
- Awareness of code quality and artifact management tools (e.g., SonarQube, Artifactory).
