Senior Manager Technology, Controls & Compliance Monitoring

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Lead the planning, execution and reporting of technology control and obligation monitoring plan across assigned divisions.
  • Continuously enhance obligation and controls testing and continuous monitoring methodologies.
  • Provide strong people leadership to a team of up to 6-7 direct reports, fostering a high‑performance and engaged culture.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on technology risks, automated controls and information security obligations, including compliance with CPS 234 and CPS 230.
  • Analyse monitoring outcomes and data‑driven insights to identify themes, trends and emerging risks.
  • Effectively challenge and influence on control, risks and obligation gaps.
  • Coach, develop and manage team members in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Contribute to the uplift of integrated assurance practices in partnership with Internal Audit and other risk teams.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline. 
  • Professional certifications such as CISA / CIA / CA / CPA or other relevant risk management accreditations are highly regarded. 
  • Proven experience in Audit, Assurance or Risk Management (Line 2) preferable within financial services and/or strong regulatory compliance expertise.
  • Experience in executing assurance/monitoring processes and testing programs is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in a people leadership role in a related role.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes at a senior level. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
