Senior Consultant, Performance & Reward (Performance)

As the Senior Consultant, Performance & Reward, you will be part of the leadership team in Performance & Reward, a team that is doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Owning the Enterprise Peak Performance Framework to ensure it is consistent and accurately applied in line with governance, policy, and CPS 511 requirements.
  • Provide leadership in enterprise performance operations, including end‑to‑end delivery of annual remuneration cycles and off‑cycle adjustments.
  • Ensure operational execution of the enterprise performance and reward framework and processes are controlled, auditable, and regulator‑ready, including accurate processing, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Own and enable performance systems, including Workday Performance, from a functional, governance, and operational perspective.
  • Proactively manage operational risk, incidents, and escalations related to performance and reward outcomes.
  • Influence consistent performance and reward practices across the Group, resolving interpretation issues and supporting adherence.
  • Lead and develop the Performance & Reward team by building capability in governance, systems, and enterprise thinking ensuring consistent quality of execution and advice.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar leadership role in Performance and Reward with deep expertise in performance, reward, and enterprise governance within complex, regulated environments.
  • Deep experience in enterprise performance frameworks, including goal‑setting, assessment, differentiation, and calibration mechanics.
  • Proven experience in leading an enterprise performance operations team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Workday Performance module from a functional, governance, and operational perspective is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and performance system experience to support modelling, scenario testing, calibration analysis, and governance assurance.
  • Strong working knowledge of CPS 511, particularly the linkage between performance assessment, consequence management, and remuneration outcomes
  • Proven proficiency in leveraging automation and AI tools to improve cycle efficiency, quality assurance, and documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills coupled with a strategic mindset and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience supporting Board or Committee‑level decision making is strongly preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Finance, or a related discipline and/or extensive experience in enterprise governance, regulatory compliance, and framework stewardship.
