Head of Group Strategy

As a Head of, you will join the Group Strategy team that’s focused on winning together.

In this Head of Group Strategy role reporting to the Executive, Group Strategy you will:

  • Deliver strategic insight and recommendations on business priorities with a consideration of customer, financial, risk and other impacts.
  • Synthesise findings and develop compelling, structured business recommendations.
  • Partner with Executives across Business and Enabling Units to define strategic clarity and ensure priorities align with the Group’s strategy.
  • Lead strategy projects and provide coaching and support to develop high performing team members.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the banking industry and trends, including implications for NAB.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated customer ‘obsession’.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, likely developed at a strategy consulting firm, in-house strategy team or investment bank (and/or similar related experience).
  • Strong business partnering experience with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing strategy projects and high performing teams.
  • Excellent written communication demonstrated by experience in drafting and contributing to board level presentation and reports.
  • Proficiency in developing financial models and strategic frameworks.
  • A positive attitude and strong motivation for continuous learning and development.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
