Finance Partner, Treasury Markets

This is a role for a commercially minded and technically astute Treasury Finance Partner who wants to grow their skills and capabilities to maximise value, solve complex problems and embrace the opportunity to keep it simple and drive process efficiencies in Finance.

As a trusted adviser to finance leadership, you will:

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior executives, constructively challenging decisions and trade-offs.
  • Translate Treasury strategy into clear, executable financial plans and performance outcomes.
  • Support the BU Executives in partnership with the HO/CFO, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner
  • Deliver monthly and statutory reporting, understand the performance drivers and provide valuable insights to the business to drive customer profitability.
  • Generate insights that improve balance sheet management, margins and Return on Equity.
  • Drive disciplined business management and identify opportunities for productivity and simplification.
  • Lead and develop a team, fostering strong performance, capability uplift and a culture of constructive challenge.

You’re a confident commercial partner with a track record of influencing outcomes in complex environments. You’ll have:

  • Significant experience in Finance within Financial Services, ideally across business partnering, planning, reporting and financial control.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to challenge senior leaders.
  • Sound commercial judgement, analytical strength and the ability to turn complexity into clarity.
  • Experience in Treasury finance accounting (highly regarded).
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, with CA/CPA preferred.
