Senior Legal Counsel
Senior Legal Counsel role delivering specialist employment law advice within a large‑scale payroll remediation programme.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Deliver highly technical employment law advice to support a large, complex payroll remediation programme
- Act as the key legal partner to a dedicated remediation squad, resolving nuanced and sensitive employment matters
- Identify, assess and manage legal risk while enabling timely and practical remediation outcomes
- Provide clear, commercially pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders across Legal, HR and the business
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to legal frameworks, guidance and post‑matter reviews
- Coordinate effectively with internal legal colleagues and external advisers as required
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver for our customers. You’ll need:
- Admitted legal practitioner with a current Australian practising certificate
- Strong post‑qualification experience in employment and industrial relations law
- Proven ability to provide highly technical legal advice on complex and sensitive matters
- Experience working within large, regulated organisations or complex programmes (e.g. remediation, transformation, compliance)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to deliver clear, pragmatic advice while balancing risk, customer and business outcomes
