Senior Partnerships Manager

In the role of Senior Partnerships Manager you will report to the Head of Partnerships, Everyday Banking Relationships and play a key role in growing NAB’s partnership ecosystem to support our Whole of Customer Strategy. You’ll help shape and execute partnership strategy, expand NAB Goodies, and position NAB as a partner of choice through market leading, customer‑centric partnerships that drive acquisition, engagement and retention. 

This is a high impact role with exposure across the enterprise, where you’ll combine commercial acumen, strategic thinking and strong stakeholder collaboration to deliver partnerships that create value for customers, partners and NAB.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

  • Source, evaluate and prioritise partnership opportunities across key consumer spend categories including travel, retail, dining, experiences and more. 

  • Shape, build and maintain robust business cases for partnerships, including ROI modelling and value attribution for customers, partners and the business. 

  • Manage a portfolio of active partnerships, leading performance reviews, scorecard reporting and continuous commercial optimisation. 

  • Identify and address value leakage by monitoring commercial terms, partner investment and overall partnership effectiveness. 

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of NAB’s partnership strategy, partner selection framework and commercial models. 

  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations teams to onboard partners efficiently while maintaining strong governance. 

  • Support the design of partner offers to ensure a compelling, seamless and customer focused experience across NAB Goodies. 

  • Deliver to partnership roadmaps, financial targets and benefit realisation, aligned to Personal Everyday Banking priorities. 

 

What you will bring: 

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate, structure and optimise partnership value. 

  • Proven experience managing partnerships or delivering customer focused initiatives within large, complex environments. 

  • Experience developing and executing business strategy that delivers measurable outcomes. 

  • Ability to think strategically while operating effectively at a hands-on level. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams. 

  • Highly numerate, analytical and comfortable working with financial models and performance metrics. 

  • A customer obsessed mindset, with curiosity and a drive to innovate and improve experiences.
