In the role of Associate, you will join the Specialised Lending team within Corporate & Institutional Banking that’s doubling down on customer obsession and moving with speed
*** This role operates on night shifts with shift loading, working from home supporting the New York team
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- The facilitate loan drawings, repayments, interest rate resets and fee payments via core system (Loan IQ) and/or manual process
- Accurately record fee income and process payments to both Lenders and Borrowers
- Reconcile account and bank statements as required.
- Completion of New and Terminated facility checklists.
- Work closely with the Relationship managers to provide a seamless service to Borrowers and Syndicate Banks
- Maintain deal parameters such as pricing within Core system (Loan IQ) and/or manual process
- Ensure electronic records management relating to payments is completed accurately daily.
- Manage email flow in group inbox and monitor, respond to and action all requests received in a timely and professional manner and escalate to Manager and Senior Manager in a timely manner where required.
- Review documentation in a timely manner and provide comments in relation to the operational aspects of the transaction.
- Attend and contribute to pre-close meetings with both internal and external parties as required.
- Contribute towards ongoing process improvement
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need
- Payments knowledge including Swift and RTGS
- Experience with LoanIQ strongly preferred
- Ability to read Facility agreements/Syndicated and Bilateral
- A focus on customer service whilst balanced with strong adherence to risk and controls frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a positive team focused attitude
- Attention to detail, speed and accurate keyboard skills
- Organisational and prioritising skills to meet deadlines in a productive and efficient way
