Client Director – Government, Education & Community

In the role of a Client Director, you will join the Government, Education & Community (GEC) South Team that’s doubling down on winning together!
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead and grow a portfolio of high‑value faith‑based and community sector clients at corporate level, delivering strong service outcomes while achieving growth, income and risk objectives.
- Build trusted, senior‑level relationships across complex organisations through highly tailored and personalised banking solutions.
- Shape and deliver national initiatives and sector priorities in partnership with senior leaders.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across faith‑based, education and for‑purpose customers, strengthening NAB’s market position.
- Drive value across the full NAB product suite, including complex lending, transactional and liquidity solutions, in collaboration with Corporate and Institutional Banking.
- Maintain strong financial crime and operational risk discipline, improving processes and enhancing customer experience.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Extensive experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on complex lending, deposit and transactional solutions and strategy and execution
- Proven capability in commercial analysis, business cases and strategic problem‑solving
- Strong understanding of the commercial banking landscape and industry‑led business models
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across complex stakeholder environments
- Strong delivery mindset, with experience supporting or leading initiatives end‑to‑end
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (including executive‑level packs and commercial analysis)
- Coaching or mentoring capability, with a collaborative approach to working with others
