• Shape and uplift enterprise data migration standards, tools and playbooks to enable safe, compliant and seamless transitions for core banking change at NAB.
• Lead planning, analysis and governance and delivery for complex data migrations across large-scale systems.
• Partner with Product, Technology, and Risk teams to deliver key capabilities and successful data migration for core banking.

In the role of Data Migration Delivery Lead, you will join the Customer Migration - Enterprise Simplification team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Develop and uplift enterprise data migration standards, tooling and playbooks to enable safe, compliant change
• Plan and support complex data migrations, including analysis, readiness gates, milestones and governance
• Work with technology teams, vendors and SMEs to build out key migration capabilities, tools and controls ready for ongoing customer product migrations at scale
• Support, and lead teams to conduct data analysis, reconciliation and substantiation to ensure accurate, and successful migrations which are invisible to the end customer
• Partner with Product, Technology, Risk and Legal stakeholders to influence data migration approaches
• Develop execution plans, run‑sheets and evidence packs in line with governance and policy requirements
• Provide guidance, assurance and coaching to uplift data migration capability across the organisation
• Find opportunities through AI and other emerging technology to reduce cost and risk, while increasing throughput and efficiency.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

• Strong experience in data migration, ETL concepts, and large‑scale data movement across complex systems
• Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments and data architecture
• Familiarity with banking products; especially Term Deposits, Savings and Transaction accounts
• Familiarity with core banking technologies and ledgers, especially for Deposit, Transactions and Lending ledgers
• Ability to define migration approaches, execution plans, governance and readiness controls
• Proven outcomes focus with ability to drive and deliver in an emerging and ambiguous environment.
• Proven ability to lead and work with teams to analyse data, identify data quality issues, and support reconciliation and substantiation activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across Product, Technology, Risk and Legal teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts succinctly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance, audit‑readiness and quality outcomes
