As the Inward Digital Fraud & Scams Analyst, you will be part of the
Fraud Operations team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
This role will be responsible for monitoring and assessment of inward payment activity to identify potential fraud, scam, mule and financial crime risks.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Monitor and assess inward payment activity to identify potential fraud, scam, mule and financial crime risks
- Detect, investigate and escalate suspicious transactional behaviours and emerging fraud patterns
- Support timely disruption and mitigation actions to minimise customer harm and financial losses arising from scam and fraudulent payments
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, workflows and controls relating to fraud and scam detection and response
- Assist in investigations and provide insights on digital fraud, scams and mule activity
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in the fraud or financial crime sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of digital fraud, scam typologies, mule activity and financial crime risks, particularly in inbound and real-time payments environments
- Experience supporting fraud detection, investigations and risk mitigation activities
- Ability to identify emerging fraud trends, behavioural patterns and suspicious activity through data analysis and investigative techniques
