Director, Client Coverage

  • Take ownership of a complex, high-value agricultural portfolio and ASX Listed Corporates, partnering closely with clients to drive growth and performance 

  • Step into a highly technical coverage role with full portfolio accountability and no people management 

  • Work at the centre of deal origination, risk strategy and client engagement, collaborating across product and credit teams

In the role of Director, you will join the C&IB Client Coverage team that’s doubling down on customer obsession!

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Manage and grow a $20m portfolio of corporate and agribusiness clients, driving revenue, returns and asset quality outcomes 

  • Build deep relationships with clients, delivering tailored financial solutions, insights and structuring support 

  • Originate and execute new transactions, working closely with credit, product specialists and execution teams 

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise cross-sell, pipeline growth and client value 

  • Maintain strong oversight of risk, pricing and portfolio performance, ensuring alignment to risk appetite and business strategy 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Strong experience in corporate or institutional banking, with the ability to step into a relationship-led coverage role 

  • Proven track record managing complex client relationships and driving multi-product outcomes 

  • Solid understanding of credit, risk frameworks, and the broader regulatory environment 

  • Ability to interpret financials, market dynamics and economic trends to inform client strategy 

  • Strong grounding in corporate finance, accounting principles and structured lending, with a commercial mindset
