Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

As a Head of, you will join the Personal Banking Finance team that’s focused on winning together by managing the Personal Banking Financial Planning & Analysis team to deliver robust forecasting & planning requirements for the Personal Banking division.
In this Head of role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting & planning requirements for the division, acting as the key interface between the PB CFO team and Group Finance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise P&L and Balance Sheet management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Provide high-quality, timely, and insightful analysis including but not limited to revenue & balance sheet trends, P&L & capital metrics, competitor analysis, etc. to inform decision-making at all levels.
- Partner with Product & Distribution Finance partners to identify, evaluate, and deliver revenue & productivity initiatives.
- Act as the key interface between the division and Group Finance for all matters relating to forecasting & planning.
- Act as the key interface with the business and Treasury Capital Management for all matters relating Personal Banking performance on capital metrics and capital initiatives to reduce our RWAs, including leading the monthly Capital Forum.
- Oversee change management to ensure ongoing accuracy and timeliness of financial planning.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, decision support & insightful analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Ability to engage, collaborate, influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change across complex environments.
- Excellent written communication demonstrated by experience in drafting and contributing to board level presentation and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in leading teams and building collaborative relationships across finance and business functions.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally CA/CPA qualified.
