Director, Transaction Banking (Corporate & Institutional Banking)

  • Own and grow a high-value Insurance portfolio within C&IB Transaction Banking 

  • Partner with senior clients to deliver strategic cash, payments and liquidity solutions 

  • Influence at executive level while driving meaningful revenue and customer outcomes

In the role of Director, you will join our C&IB Transaction Banking team that’s doubling down on customer obsession!  

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Lead sales growth and senior account management for complex Insurance sector clients within Transaction Banking 

  • Drive origination activity and execute sector-specific strategies in partnership with Client Coverage teams 

  • Own key client relationships, ensuring strong portfolio performance and revenue protection 

  • Deliver tailored transaction banking solutions that enhance client financial, operational and risk outcomes 

  • Act as escalation point and ensure high-quality service delivery aligned to SLAs and client expectations 

  • Deliver customer advocacy outcomes for your designated portfolio of clients  

  • Ensure the portfolio is meeting it’s obligations for APRA regulated organisations including knowledge of CPS230 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Deep expertise in transaction banking, particularly cash management, payments and acquiring 

  • Proven ability to drive business development, origination and revenue growth in complex environments 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives internally and externally 

  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of building high-performing, customer-focused teams 

  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance strategic and operational decision-making
