Senior Governance Analyst

In the role of Senior Governance Analyst, you will report to the Head of Domain Orchestration and play a key role in providing governance, oversight and reporting across a substantial change portfolio within the Home Ownership Domain. You’ll support effective program, project and portfolio outcomes by ensuring strong governance frameworks, clear reporting and high‑quality insights for decision‑making.
This is a highly visible role within the Intelligent Mortgage Platform, where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery leads and program teams to drive consistent governance practices, enable transparency and uplift PMO capability across the portfolio.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Establish and manage governance forums, including program, change and risk forums, ensuring clear decision‑making pathways, escalation and accountability.
- Deliver high‑quality reporting across programs and portfolios, including delivery status, financial performance, RAID and resourcing insights.
- Provide governance support and guidance to delivery teams, ensuring alignment to frameworks, processes and standards.
- Support budget and benefits management activities, including tracking performance and ensuring clear, measurable outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Delivery, Finance, Risk and business teams to enable effective collaboration.
- Translate governance reviews, health checks and findings into clear insights and actionable improvements.
- Promote strong data quality and reporting hygiene across systems and tools.
- Drive continuous improvement across governance and PMO processes, simplifying ways of working and enhancing efficiency.
What you will bring:
- Strong experience in governance, PMO, project or program environments within complex organisations.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks and lifecycle practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high‑quality reporting and insights.
- Experience working with reporting and project tools such as Clarity, Rally or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical capability, including experience with Excel and preparing executive‑level presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience in banking, financial services or consulting environments is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline.
