In the role of Manager, Investigation Support, Crime & Integrity Investigations, you have the opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role where you’ll blend investigative oversight with people leadership and capability uplift.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across internal and external forums including senior leaders, regulators and law enforcement, confidently representing CII in conversations that matter.
- Lead the uplift of data stewardship and information governance enhancing quality and supporting high-impact investigations and informed decision making.
- Manage governance oversight for CII investigation activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations (including RG78), internal standards, and audit expectations. Provide assurance to CII leadership on governance effectiveness, risk management, and control integrity.
- Oversee investigation related data requests ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and meet privacy, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Shape how we use our case management system from workflow design, dashboard maintenance, and backlog prioritisation in partnership with the product owner.
- Maintain data quality assurance processes, leveraging system alerts, analytics and manual reviews to ensure case integrity and audit readiness.
- Own and evolve our work instructions and knowledge repositories, keeping them practical, current, and aligned to how work is actually completed.
- Exercise delegated authority from the Head of CII to review and approve key investigation outcomes, including reports, regulatory outputs (including RG78) and NFA decisions.
- Partner with Quality and ITE teams to identify systemic quality issues and drive uplift through improvements to systems, frameworks and work instructions.
- Support key transformation initiatives that enhance how investigations are delivered across the business.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Strong background leading or overseeing complex fraud, financial crime or workplace investigations.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in integrity, conduct and complex internal investigations, including whistle blower matters, conflicts of interest and insider threat scenarios.
- Sound understanding of fraud, financial crime and regulatory compliance frameworks/risks, with the ability to translate investigative findings into control, risk and compliance outcomes.
- To step back from individual cases to focus on consistency, quality, and system-wide improvement.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail in managing, validating and delivering accurate and compliant information.
- A genuine passion for developing people, with demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level investigators to build capability and confidence..
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Relevant investigations qualifications (e.g. Cert IV, CFE, AGIS, Diploma or Detective designation) desirable.
