Strategic Enablement Director

  • Lead the strategic direction and multi-year roadmap for a transforming valuations function

This is a high-impact leadership role at the centre of a major transformation. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using influence and credibility to shape strategy, guide decision-making and drive alignment across a complex stakeholder landscape. Your ability to bring people on the journey will be just as critical as the strategy itself - ensuring initiatives are prioritised, supported and successfully delivered.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Develop and evolve the valuations vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities
  • Lead complex analysis, modelling and business case development to support and influence strategic investment decisions
  • Translate operational, risk and performance data into clear, compelling executive-ready insights and narratives that drive action
  • Establish and uplift governance frameworks across data, metrics, benefits tracking and strategic initiatives
  • Drive capability uplift across the business through frameworks, tools and operating models
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across operations, technology, risk and credit to enable execution of strategy
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives - shaping priorities, navigating trade-offs and influencing key investment decisions
  • Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities, building alignment and momentum across a matrixed organisation
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and industry developments to inform strategy and forward planning
  • Lead prioritisation and sequencing of initiatives to maximise impact, efficiency and customer outcomes

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategy, transformation, analytics or enterprise enablement roles
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills in complex, regulated environments
  • Advanced analytical and modelling capability, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Proven experience developing and delivering multi-year strategies and roadmaps
  • Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of shaping outcomes at senior executive level
  • Ability to build credibility quickly and lead through influence in large, matrixed organisations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling that drives decisions
  • Experience operating as a senior individual contributor, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Background in consulting (top-tier preferred) or exposure to banking, valuations, risk or data environments (highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualification in business, finance, economics, analytics, engineering or related fields (MBA or postgraduate advantageous)
