Snr Assc, Content & Channels

We’re looking for a new team member to join NAB’s creative Content and Channels Team in Communications for  9 months.  

In this role, you’ll collaborate across the function to create and manage social media content and operations for NAB’s social media channels, helping to build trust, strengthen reputation and connect with key audiences. 

You have experience as a content creator, communications professional or marketer but most importantly, a creative and curious brain with lots of ideas and the ability to follow through on them.

  • Come and help deliver compelling content for our social media platforms: Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.

You’ll make an impact each day by: 

  • Drive content creation efforts for NAB Social Media: you’ll lead end to end content, managing projects and colleagues through the entire creative process, from brief to execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes.  

  • Plan, schedule and publish weekly social media content: you’ll work collaboratively with our communications leads, production team and others around the business to shape and manage our social content pipeline and identify proactive opportunities. 

  • Drive priority social media and content campaigns and projects: you’ll act as a channel strategist and content advisor to meet and exceed our content benchmarks for our key priorities. 

  • Maintain NAB’s brand consistency across all platforms and channels: you’ll help us stand out by bringing our brand to life on social channels. 

  • Monitor and draw insights on content performance in channel: You understand how to determine content and channel success using social media analytics. 

  • Bring creative ideas to the table: tap into current trends and deliver content that is engaging for different audiences, including colleagues and external audiences. 

You’ll bring to this role: 

  • Have a passion for social media and storytelling: You’re passionate about content creation and storytelling, with a good understanding of the social media landscape. You’re an avid user of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 

  • Know what works on social: You’re up-to-date with trends and can create or direct effective content tailored to different platforms, audiences, and objectives. You actively monitor content trends to drive innovation and help NAB stand out.  

  • Be highly organized: you’ll manage our content schedule and plans on a weekly basis, as well as plan for key calendar moments. 

  • Be Collaborative: You work closely with colleagues across Communications & Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing, and Direct teams to identify opportunities for impactful storytelling across channels. 

  • Bring curiosity and creativity: You’re curious and always on the lookout for fresh, engaging content ideas and formats that align with NAB’s strategic ambitions and build trust in the brand. 

  • Have a growth mindset: You’re eager to learn and adapt, embracing opportunities to upskill on new platforms and production techniques to stay ahead of the curve. 

  • Offer relevant professional experience: You bring relevant experience in communications, marketing, or content creation, and thrive in a fast-paced, occasionally complex environment. 

  • Proactively manage risk: by meeting policy, legal and compliance requirements, performing controls, and adhering to processes and procedures relevant to your role. You escalate issues or breaches as necessary and ensure all communications and materials align with NAB’s standards. 

  • Be agile and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where tasks can shift due to internal and external events. 

  • Positively contribute to NAB’s culture.
