Head of Advice NSW - Sydney CBD

In the role of Head of Advice, you will work closely with the Executive JBWere Advice and the Advice Leadership Team in guiding the business though transformational change that enable our exceptional Advisers to provide our clients quality advice.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing advice team by coaching advisers, driving accountability, and building a strong performance culture across NSW.
  • Drive business growth and financial performance through client acquisition, adviser productivity, and achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Ensure advice quality, risk and compliance excellence by maintaining regulatory standards and proactively managing advice-related risks.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across wealth, banking, investment, risk and operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives and improve client outcomes.
  • Shape and execute regional advice strategy aligned with national objectives, market opportunities and client needs.

You’ll bring to this role:

  • Extensive private wealth, financial advice and/or investment markets experience, with a strong understanding of high-net-worth client needs.
  • Proven people leadership capability, including experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing adviser teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, deliver financial outcomes, and provide insightful perspectives on market trends, investment strategies, and client needs.
  • Deep knowledge of advice governance, risk and compliance, with the ability to balance client outcomes and regulatory obligations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives, clients and business partners.
