Senior Consultant Performance and Growth

Specialised Distribution is responsible for Personal Banking (PB) specialised customer propositions, bringing together Premier Banking for Mass Affluent customers, Broker Distribution, Workplace Banking and Colleague Banking. We focus on driving growth, performance and customer outcomes across these key segments. Partnering closely with PB frontline channels, product, risk and operations teams, we play a key role in shaping strategy, driving commercial outcomes and improving customer experiences that support sustainable business growth. 

As a Senior Consultant, Performance & Growth, you’ll partner with Specialised Distribution Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives, influence executive decision-making and deliver meaningful business outcomes. Combining data, insights and commercial thinking, you’ll help identify growth opportunities and support the continuous improvement of customer experiences across NAB’s specialised customer segments.  

You’ll make an impact each day by: 

  • Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights, strategic analysis and recommendations. 

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance across key customer segments. 

  • Lead strategic initiatives that drive performance uplift and support Personal Banking priorities. 

  • Develop high quality content and insights for executive and Board-level forums, including leadership updates, Executive Leadership Team papers and Board papers. 

  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to co-create data assets, reporting and performance insights that enable better decision-making. 

  • Translate complex data and business challenges into clear, actionable strategies that improve customer and commercial outcomes. 

  • Drive, support and own business governance activities, including control operation, risk oversight and governance processes.  

You’ll bring to this role: 

  • Significant experience in banking, financial services, strategy, consulting or a related commercial environment.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.  

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at senior and executive levels.  

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and storytelling skills, with experience distilling complex information for diverse audiences.  

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline, supported by advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.  

  • A proactive mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for driving performance, growth and customer outcomes.
