As a Product Owner, Intelligence Hub - Fraud Transformation, you'll represent the business in shaping, prioritising and delivering product capabilities that align to strategic objectives and customer outcomes. Working closely with delivery squads, stakeholders and product leaders, you'll own the backlog, define priorities and ensure the right features are delivered at the right time to maximise business value.
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:
- Capture, refine and translate business requirements into epics, features and user stories.
- Make day to day decisions to enable development team to move quickly through product iterations
- Ensure the Delivery and Development teams understand the value of each user story that is being delivered at the right time
- Own and manage team backlog and prioritise tasks in line with roadmap
- Involved in the roadmap planning, release planning, execution, review of each sprint, realising impact, value and focus on the right priorities
- Work collaboratively with Scrum Master and the squad to deliver backlog
- Communicate release slices with key stakeholders
- Attend all relevant ceremonies
- Leaders at all levels will be expected to ensure their teams are clear, capable and motivated
- Clear about purpose, values, goals and plans, expectations and processes, and the boundaries of ethical decision making
- Capable with the right talent, time, tools and skills to do their work, with leaders expected to manage resources (people, budgets, assets) and coach teams to build competence and confidence
- Motivated by leaders who build trust, inclusive teams and a psychologically safe environment, track results, and provide clear follow-up and feedback
We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll have:
- A strong technical background and an in-depth understanding of Financial Products and Domains (operations, processes, end users, customers, regulations).
- Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and process analysis
- Extensive experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with HCD techniques.
- Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints
- Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a co-located cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of product development.
- Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships whilst sometimes saying no
- Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making
- Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
