Senior Associate, Credit Structuring & Execution (C&IB)

  • Customer-facing role with regular in-person client engagement, sitting alongside Coverage Bankers  
  • Own end-to-end execution on complex transactions, from credit memo and modelling through to documentation and stakeholder recommendations 
  • Permanent opportunity based in Melbourne

In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Corporate C&IB CSE team contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers. 

You’ll make an impact each day by: 

  • Partner closely with Client Coverage, Markets and Products, plus internal partners to deliver strong customer satisfaction and drive growth 
  • Manage ongoing risk profile monitoring and compliance requirements across assigned client groups, keeping portfolio hygiene to a high standard 
  • Support transaction structuring and end-to-end execution, including credit submissions, financial modelling, documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders 
  • Embed quality, consistency and continuous improvement in CSE, improving turnaround times and managing business risks 
  • Provide strong stakeholder management and coach junior team members (Associates/Analysts) to uplift capability and performance 

You’ll bring to this role: 

  • Strong numerical, credit and financial analysis capability, including financial modelling 
  • Understanding of debt and financial markets products, with solid credit and execution experience (including documentation) 
  • Proven ability to work across internal stakeholders and deliver in a regulated, compliance-focused environment 
  • Customer-focused, with strong organisational and time management skills and a proven record of delivering high-quality work within required timelines 
  • C&IB experience preferred, but strong customer-facing banking experience (including B&PB) and emerging G2 talent with clear potential are welcomed (tertiary qualification in Business/Finance preferred)
