Consultant CRO Specialist - 13 Month FTC

  • Drive digital sales performance through experimentation, personalisation and conversion rate optimisation across key customer journeys

As a Consultant, CRO Specialist, you'll be part of the Digital Sales team, helping drive a culture of experimentation and evidence-based decision making. Working closely with Product Owners, Journey Specialists, Insights Analysts, Content and Design teams, you'll design and execute experiments that reduce customer friction, improve conversion and unlock growth opportunities. Through rigorous testing, analysis and personalisation, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of NAB's digital sales experiences.

Please note this is a 13-month fixed-term contract opportunity. 

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

  • Develop and maintain a high-quality backlog of optimisation opportunities using customer insights, behavioural science, competitor research and performance data
  • Work with Journey Specialists to identify customer pain points and shape evidence-based hypotheses
  • Design and execute experimentation and personalisation initiatives across digital sales journeys
  • Create audience strategies, experience treatments and content variations that improve customer engagement and conversion
  • Configure and launch CRO activities using Adobe Target and related optimisation platforms
  • Monitor experiment performance, identify risks and recommend when initiatives should be scaled, adjusted or stopped
  • Translate experiment outcomes into clear, actionable learnings that can be applied across customer journeys
  • Contribute to the Digital Sales Optimisation Atlas, building a reusable knowledge base of proven optimisation principles
  • Apply behavioural science, academic research and industry best practice to improve customer experiences and commercial outcomes
  • Partner with Product, Content, Design and Analytics teams to embed evidence-led decision making across the business
  • Share insights, outcomes and recommendations with stakeholders to influence future roadmap priorities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CRO frameworks, processes, playbooks and standards

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:

  • 7+ years' professional experience, including at least 5 years in conversion rate optimisation, experimentation or personalisation roles
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable commercial outcomes through experimentation and optimisation programs
  • Strong understanding of behavioural science, customer psychology and user decision-making principles
  • Experience designing, implementing and analysing A/B tests, multivariate tests and personalisation strategies
  • Strong analytical and statistical capability, with the ability to interpret results and generate actionable insights
  • Experience leveraging customer data, funnel analysis and research to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with ContentSquare, Tealium or similar digital analytics and optimisation platforms
  • Intermediate HTML, JavaScript and content publishing experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work across Product, Digital, Marketing and Analytics teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate insights and recommendations clearly
  • Experience within financial services or a closely related industry highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital, Business, Behavioural Science, Psychology, Analytics, Statistics, Commerce or a related discipline preferred
