Digital Analytics Specialist | Insights Analyst

  • Turn data into actionable insights that shape digital sales strategy, prioritisation and commercial outcomes

As an Digital Analytics Specialist | Insights Analyst you'll be part of the Digital Sales team, working closely with Product Owners to uncover the drivers of performance across customer journeys and digital products. While Trading & Performance teams focus on what is happening, you'll focus on why it is happening, what actions should be taken and what impact those actions deliver. Through deep analysis, experimentation, audience insights and performance diagnostics, you'll play a key role in shaping strategy, influencing priorities and driving measurable business outcomes.

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

  • Identify, assess and quantify opportunities to improve digital sales performance and customer outcomes
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of actionable, value-assessed opportunities across customer journeys and products
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand performance drivers, customer behaviour and commercial outcomes
  • Review historical learnings, experiment results and external best practice to inform future opportunities and recommendations
  • Influence prioritisation and roadmap decisions through data-driven insights and business cases
  • Design and support personalisation and experimentation strategies to generate meaningful and measurable learnings
  • Define audiences, segmentation strategies and targeting opportunities that improve customer engagement and conversion
  • Develop, maintain and enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards and analysis artefacts
  • Establish and maintain robust measurement approaches, attribution frameworks and success metrics
  • Partner with Product Owners, CRO Specialists, Analytics teams and Martech stakeholders to diagnose issues and improve performance
  • Maintain high standards across insights, analytics, measurement, reporting and documentation practices
  • Contribute to broader strategic initiatives through analysis, opportunity assessment and value realisation reporting

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Tealium or similar tools is essential
  • 3+ years' experience in analytics, digital insights, customer analytics or a similar role
  • Experience working within digital, marketing, personalisation, optimisation or customer journey environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate insights into actions
  • Experience developing business cases, value assessments and performance improvement recommendations
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including experience with SQL, Excel and data visualisation tools
  • Experience working with digital analytics, personalisation, experimentation or customer data platforms
  • Understanding of segmentation, targeting, attribution, modelling and KPI development
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders through data and insights
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to connect customer behaviour to business outcomes
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in agile or product-led environments
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, paid media and digital marketing ecosystems highly regarded
  • Financial services experience highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, IT, Statistics or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
