Your next career opportunity
As an AI Architect/Tech Lead, you'll spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI systems supporting academic and research activities. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to our AI strategy, develop innovative applications, and establish robust AI infrastructure. This role offers you the chance to shape the future of technology in higher education while working with cutting-edge AI techniques and tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and Implement AI Solutions: Develop enterprise-grade Generative AI applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG processes aligned with university needs.
  • Lead AI Infrastructure Development: Establish AI infrastructure, including Bedrock Agents, secure authentication, and efficient data management using AWS services.
  • Drive AI Strategy and Governance: Contribute to university-wide AI strategy, adhere to AI ethics protocols, and provide technology consulting across departments.
  • Advance AI Education: Contribute to AI education and training programs, fostering a culture of AI innovation throughout the university.

You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced AI architect/Technical Lead with a strong background in AWS solutions, proficient in designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI applications, and passionate about driving technological innovation in academic and research environments.

You may also:

  • Hold AWS Solutions Architect Professional and Associate certifications.
  • Have 5+ years of experience with AWS architectures and services.
  • Possess deep knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG implementations.
  • Be skilled in Python programming, RESTful API development, and microservices architecture.
  • Have experience with AI security, data privacy, and ethical considerations in AI development.

Your new team – Enterprise Technology
Enterprise Technology is responsible for all aspects of enterprise & IT foundational technology including both change (project) and run (operational) aspects. 

The Enterprise Services domain team, within Enterprise Technology, plans and delivers a diverse range of projects including IT enablement for new buildings on campus and other facilities / smart campus projects; IT infrastructure projects; integration / identity management / security projects; and application / digital projects in the enterprise services domain (finance, HR, procurement, service management, space management and other back-office Enterprise capabilities).
