Your next career opportunity
As a Clinical Trial Project Coordinator for the FlashGM Study, you'll play a crucial role in a NHMRC-funded national clinical trial aimed at improving diabetes management for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

You'll have the opportunity to lead study coordinators across multiple sites, collaborate with diverse healthcare teams, and contribute to potentially life-changing research.

This role offers you the chance to make a real difference in health equity while advancing your career in clinical research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Clinical Trial Coordination: Manage all aspects of trial activities, including participant recruitment, study visits, and accurate record-keeping across 20+ clinical sites nationwide.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit ethics applications, amendments, and reports, ensuring adherence to ICH-Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the core team, clinical research associates, and monitoring teams to drive the study towards successful completion.
  • Provide Leadership and Support: Guide study coordinators across all sites, organise regular meetings, and manage study consumable supplies.

You may be a great fit if:

You are an experienced clinical trial coordinator with a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with type 2 diabetes.

You may also:

  • Have experience as a clinical trial coordinator, particularly in diabetes research or Aboriginal health settings.
  • Possess strong project management skills and the ability to handle complex, multi-site clinical trials.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be proficient in clinical trial management systems, ethics review processes, and data management tools.
  • Have a background in nursing or diabetes education.
