Your next career opportunity
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, you'll be at the forefront of infectious disease research. You'll provide crucial administrative and management support for investigator-led clinical studies across a range of projects and sites. This newly created position offers you the chance to work with leading researchers, promote a culture of excellence, and contribute to studies that could shape the future of global health.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Research Teams: Provide project coordination and administrative support across various clinical trials.
  • Manage Documentation: Prepare and maintain study protocols, operational and regulatory documents for clinical research.
  • Assist with Trial Logistics: Support budget and contract administration for research projects.
  • Contribute to Participant Recruitment: Assist with screening and enrolment at partner clinical trial sites.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the implementation of quality assurance standards and best practices.

You may be a great fit if:
You have a strong background in clinical trial coordination, with excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles and regulatory requirements.

You may also:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Have at least 3 years' experience in clinical trial coordination or an equivalent role.
  • Demonstrate experience in budget and contract management for clinical trials.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a good working knowledge of medical and laboratory terminology.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
  • Hold current GCP accreditation.
