About the Role 
The Digital Strategy & Channels Directorate operate within the Communications and Marketing functions, set up to develop and deliver on an ongoing digital transformation  strategy for the University. This role supports the execution Alumni and Donor CRM programs, on behalf of the Advancement department (who are responsible for managing alumni and donor relations,) using the University's new CRM platform, Salesforce. The successful applicant will plan, develop, and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various channels to increase engagement, volunteer participation, and donations. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills as you will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve marketing goals. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting implementation of CRM project plans and help identify improvement opportunities 
  • Ensuring effective and timely delivery of end-to-end campaigns to meet campaign requirements 
  • Working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure communications and campaigns meet compliance and business requirements 

Who we are looking for 
We are looking for applicants who thrive in a collaborative environment, using your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to achieve results. You'll be adept at analysing data and using insights to recommend marketing optimisations. 

You will also have: 

  • Demonstrated work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or a related discipline  
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing solutions and techniques and an understanding of the key University customer journeys 
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with business analysis reporting platforms such as MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as other reporting solutions e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Data Studio 
  • Sound knowledge of digital advertising and digital marketing solutions and techniques and an understanding of key drivers.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
