About the Role 
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Apple Endpoint Engineer who will be a Subject Matter expert on the Apple Platform, delivering expert analysis and hands-on management of incidents, requests, problems, and projects. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the implementation of the Apple platforms strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with both current and future needs of the University through technical activities and delivery. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, security, capacity, scalability, and availability of Apple platform services. 
  • Assist in developing the software/application deployment strategy for Apple devices across the university and support the maintenance of the Jamf Pro software library by ensuring applications are patched, updated, or removed as needed. 

Who We Are Looking For 
We’re looking for people who can assist project, operational, and service delivery teams by offering technical support on the reliability, availability, scalability, and manageability of both new and existing Apple End User Computing platforms. 

You will also have: 

  • Industry certification in IT and/or proven expertise in Apple End User Computing Platform. 
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise mobility management solutions for Apple platforms to support end user devices in large and diverse organisations. 
  • Experience with scripting languages such as AppleScript, Bash and/or Python. 
  • Understanding of Apple’s MDM protocol and Configuration Profile specifications.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
