About the Role
Melbourne Professional Education (MPE) works to develop, deliver and support a suite of high-quality, wholly online graduate courses. As a Production Assistant, you'll work closely with learning designers, project managers, rich media production staff and LMS support staff to develop and review digital recourses for use in graduate-level subjects and micro-credentials across the university. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting and communicating with key eLearning stakeholders at the University.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on manuscripts that have been collaboratively developed by MSPACE learning designers and subject matter experts
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on digital learning resources and objects within the Canvas LMS
  • Embedding videos within the Canvas LMS


Who we are looking for
We’re looking for people with strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills. 

You will also have:

  • Experience working with an LMS, or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with copyediting and proofreading in an electronic environment.
  • Familiarity with HTML is preferred

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
