About the Role
The Manager, Learning and Academic Integrity Analytics will lead a team to deliver data-driven insights into learning design, student engagement, and academic success, while focusing on academic integrity analysis to inform policy and prevention efforts. Situated within the Digital Learning Environments (DLE) team, this role will collaborate across departments to generate timely reports, support misconduct investigations, and provide strategic recommendations using data from the University’s educational technology systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a small group of expert professionals undertaking analysis of learning analytics and other related data sets in the pursuit of reporting upon and articulating insights into the University’s learning and teaching design and delivery and student engagement, learning attainment, and behaviour.
- Lead and manage the team’s engagement to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues in Student & Scholarly Services and other departments to evaluate and provide sensitive, accurate data and reporting that supports and enables student success outcomes and supports academic integrity investigations via analysis and reporting across a range of tools and service providers that comprise the Digital Learning Environments (DLE) educational technology suite, leveraging the data from across the different services and systems. Liaise with colleagues and peers internally and externally and contribute to the sector and broader higher education learning analytics and academic integrity communities of practice, and stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in educational data analysis.
- Ascertain via engagement and collaboration with educators and administrators what the various sought insights and analyses are to understand current and emerging needs
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate excels in both verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and maintains confidentiality while adhering to principles of natural justice. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, build effective internal relationships, and proactively address challenges with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
You will also have:
- A postgraduate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training in data analysis and/or related fields.
- Proven experience as a data analyst with a learning analytics focus in educational settings, preferably in the Australian Higher Education Sector
- Proven experience in managing a team of subject matter experts and professionals in the delivery of timely outcomes and collective achievement of KPI’s
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects and operational service deliverables simultaneously

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
