Your next career opportunity
We have two exciting opportunities for Executive Assistants in the Advancement Office. One role will support the Senior Director of Engagement and Development, while the other will support the Senior Director of Advancement for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). In either role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting senior leadership, liaising with significant University supporters, managing high-level administrative tasks, and contributing to the success of key programs in alumni relations and fundraising.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide High-Level Executive Support: Manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle sensitive communications for your assigned Senior Director.  
  • Deliver Administrative Excellence: Prepare high-quality documents, manage expenditures, and coordinate travel arrangements with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the management of volunteer Boards and Committees, contributing to the advancement of University goals in your specific portfolio.
  • Cultivate Key Relationships: Develop effective working relationships with senior University personnel and external stakeholders relevant to your assigned area.

You may be a great fit if:

You are an experienced executive assistant with excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proven track record of providing high-level support in a dynamic environment.

You may also:

  • Have substantial experience in a similar role supporting senior staff members.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to draft correspondence and compile reports.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Have high-level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Be action-oriented with versatility, enthusiasm, and initiative.
  • Have advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
