As a Research Assistant in the Early Childhood Academic Group, you'll have the exciting opportunity to support cutting-edge research projects led by the Dean. You'll gain invaluable experience in conducting literature reviews, interviews, and data analysis, while contributing to scholarly publications and grant proposals. This role offers you the chance to develop your research skills, expand your academic network, and make a meaningful impact in the field of education.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct Research Activities: Perform literature searches, conduct interviews, transcribe data, and contribute to data analysis and preparation.
  • Contribute to Academic Outputs: Assist in preparing research publications, scholarly conference presentations, and grant proposals.
  • Support Project Administration: Maintain research records, coordinate research activities, and assist in setting up national and international networks.
  • Engage in Faculty Initiatives: Participate in faculty activities and contribute to the research culture of the Early Childhood Academic Group.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a current doctoral student with a strong academic background in education, possessing excellent research skills, writing abilities, and a passion for contributing to cutting-edge educational research.

You may also:

  • Be a current doctoral student with a relevant bachelor's degree and prior research experience.
  • Have demonstrated experience in conducting literature searches and reviews.
  • Possess strong skills in conducting research interviews and data analysis.
  • Have experience in writing peer-reviewed publications.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Show the ability to work independently and take initiative.
