As the Coordinator of Academic Mentoring at the University of Melbourne, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing student support and academic engagement. You'll have the opportunity to lead a university-wide mentoring program, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive innovations that directly impact student success. Your role will be crucial in shaping the academic journey of students, making this a key position for those passionate about higher education and student support services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Program Operations: Coordinate the university-wide delivery of Academic Mentoring, overseeing systems, processes, and communications and engagement actitivities.
- Drive System Integration: Act as a central liaison for enterprise systems, ensuring seamless integration between student- and academic mentor-facing platforms.
- Enhance User Experience: Identify and implement improvements to support optimal student and academic mentor experiences.
- Collaborate on Communications and Engagement Activities: Oversee the creation of a coordinated university-wide communication plan.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a digital and strategic thinker with strong project management skills, extensive experience in higher education systems or a strong interest in information systems or technology, and a passion for enhancing student support through innovative programs.
You may also:
- Have a minimum bachelor's degree with relevant experience in program management or higher education administration.
- Demonstrate strong organisational, relationship management and project management skills, capable of managing multiple work streams.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, able to synthesize data from multiple sources and become a subject-matter expert quickly.
- Have experience working with complex data and advanced Excel skills.
