Your next career opportunity
As Senior Adviser in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Education, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the faculty's strategic direction. You'll provide high-level advice to senior leadership, manage complex projects, and drive key initiatives aligned with the Faculty's Strategic Plan. This role offers you the opportunity to influence educational policy and work with diverse stakeholders to advance the faculty's ambitious goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Strategic Advice: Offer high-level guidance to the Dean and leadership team on major issues and directions, preparing briefings and reports.
  • Lead Complex Projects: Manage significant projects related to the faculty's development and ongoing strategic priorities.
  • Develop Strategic Plans: Create and support implementation of strategic plans for key portfolios within the faculty.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support strategic activities.

You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced adviser with an extensive experience in tertiary education administration, and a proven track record in management and strategic planning, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.

You may also:

  • Possess excellent writing skills for crafting varied papers, proposals, and reports for senior leadership.
  • Have demonstrated experience in university-community engagement.
  • Excel in high-level stakeholder management across diverse groups.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience in developing and implementing effective administrative systems.
  • Possess knowledge of higher education settings or similar complex environments.
