As a Talent Acquisition Partner at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the institution's future workforce. You'll have the opportunity to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, develop strategic hiring strategies, and foster key relationships across various divisions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement best-in-class recruitment strategies to attract top talent across academic and professional portfolios
  • Manage End-to-End Recruitment: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from vacancy consultation to candidate onboarding, ensuring efficiency and excellence
  • Foster Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand workforce needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Enhance Recruitment Practices: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and industry trends to optimise recruitment processes

You may be a great fit if:
You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment.

You may also:

  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Possess strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment law
  • Demonstrate expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies and recruitment technologies
  • Excel in customer service and stakeholder management
  • Show adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery

Your new team – Talent Acquisition Team
The Talent Acquisition Team provides specialist recruitment services to the university. Supporting both Academic and Professional roles, the team provide best-practice expertise for the hire of internal and external staff. The Talent Acquisition Team and this role sits in the HR Services Group that provides other specialist and transactional support across the employee lifecycle including HR administration, payroll, and travel services.
