As the Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Support you will play a crucial role in the University's recruitment process. You will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in end-to-end recruitment, from job postings, to candidate management, while working with a diverse range of both professional and academic stakeholders. You will also have the chance to hone your skills in HR administration, customer service and process improvement with in a fun, dynamic and collaborative team environment, helping to attract top talen to the University of Melbourne.
In this role you will be a part of one of two academic recruitment teams, working to support recruitment activity within the Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Each day presents the opportunity to work with world-leading experts across a wide range of fields and learn something new!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support End-to-End Recruitment: Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Manage Administrative Tasks: Handle advertising costs, code expenses, and maintain accurate recruitment data for reporting.
- Enhance Candidate Experience: Build positive relationships with stakeholders and candidates, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
- Contribute to Process Improvement: Participate in developing new processes and recommending enhancements to existing ones.

You posess strong organisation and time management skills. You will need to be someone who is comfortable with being flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
You may also:
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in recruitment or a related field.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and aptitude for learning new digital platforms.
- Have experience with recruitment systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The Talent Acquisition Team provides specialist recruitment services to the university. Supporting both Academic and Professional roles, the team provide best-practice expertise for the hire of internal and external staff. The Talent Acquisition Team and this role sit in the HR Services Group, providing other specialist and transactional support across the employee lifecycle, including HR administration, payroll, and travel services
