About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This 12-month contract is a great opportunity to be part of our technology team that provides video conferencing and communication solutions to our clients. This integral role will see you responsible for the successful direction of project activities and the financial and reporting management of the project. Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial and budgetary requirements for all stages of projects
- Conduct weekly, fortnightly and monthly progress and project reports
- Conduct weekly assessments of project status, labor hours and costs to ensure resource allocation aligns with project objectives and budget requirement
- Maintain contact with clients, key suppliers, other Programmed businesses, industry and government representatives to ensure the achievement and satisfaction of overall strategy and business objectives
- Ensure project documentation and reports meet Programmed standards, compliance requirements and timelines are consistent with quality accreditation and HSE standards.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure timely reporting and investigations of incidents to prevent further occurrences.
- Plan the itinerary and major projects to facilitate the achievement of PET profit targets, in conjunction with the team.
- Undertake on-the-job coaching and mentoring of direct reports and proactively manage performance and development needs in accordance with company policy and project needs
About You
To join our team, you will be an experienced Project/Program Manager with a background in either Audio-visual, Information Technology, or Unified Communications with proficiency in planning and managing financials within a project. Additionally, you will possess;
- Qualification in Audio Visual, Information Technology or Communications is desirable
- A current defense clearance is advantageous
- A passion to provide and execute high-quality work at all times
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
