About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Work Coordinator to join our team, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for a key facility management contract. This includes creating efficient schedules, optimising resource allocation, ensuring compliance with service delivery standards and providing administrative support for a social housing services contract.
This permanent, full-time role is based in Wagga Wagga (NSW) and will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and safety requirements.

Through exceptional administration, scheduling and coordination, your key responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimal disruptions.
- Manage maintenance jobs from allocation to completion to ensure on-time and within contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to align work schedules with operational requirements and service delivery standards.
- Resolve issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution of any delivery delays or obstacles.
- Champion safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols throughout the maintenance process.
- Support subcontractor management, assisting with validation of variations and ensuring quality and compliance with all contract terms.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have a proven background as an administrative assistant, work coordinator or in a similar administrative position, preferably within facility management or a related industry. However, this experience is not essential. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling tools advantageous, however not essential.
